Check Out The Day Of Pink “Colour With Pride” Colouring books

When I was invited by the nice folks at Day Of Pink to be featured in the 3rd edition of their colouring book “Colouring With Pride” to mark International Day of Pink 2020 on 8 April 2020, I was thrilled. But then COVID-19 happened. it’s finally out.

When I was invited by the nice folks at Day Of Pink to be featured in the 3rd edition of their DAY OF PINK COLOURING BOOK, “Colouring With Pride” to mark International Day of Pink 2020 on 8 April 2020, I was honoured.

I was deeply flattered I’d be written about alongside inspiring leaders who helped lead the way and make Canada and the U.S. a better and more inclusive place for us all.

I was amused kids of all ages would be colouring our likenesses while learning about the importance of equality and justice and meeting some of the people contributing to a movement for a world that’s more inclusive for everyone.

I was also thrilled that kids are learning about queer and Trans history

But then COVID-19 happened and everything stopped as the world’s attention shifted to this very pressing concern. It took us all weeks to figure out what is happening and a sense of routine is just starting to creep back into our lives as we find our footing in the new normal.

International Day Of Pink celebrates diversity each year.

That’s why I’m delighted to share that the Colouring With Pride Colouring Book is ready just in time for International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia – which we mark on May 17, 2020.

“The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia is observed on May 17 and aims to coordinate international events that raise awareness of LGBT rights violations and stimulate interest in LGBT rights work worldwide. By 2016, the commemorations had taken place in 132 countries across the globe.”, according to Wikipedia.

IDAHOTB is marked every May 17. Image: may17.org
